There are quite a few tub chairs around today that you can fit in your home. You have the standard chair that has all the good looks and style you want. It is usually a single design and you stick it in the corner of your living room or by a window. This is the favourite place to put single tub chairs. They just add to what the room already has. A breakfast bar is where they are best placed because the legs are quite long to reach the counter level, and they look much better than the standard bar chairs. They also give you better support and comfort, unlike most breakfast bar stools that do not have a back rest. The swivel feature makes it easier to sit down and get out of the area. Plastic chairs are used outdoors as patio furniture, and look a lot better than the normal inds of patio furniture you see. Just throw on a cushion for more comfort and you are well set for lounging around outside in style. The plastic is easy to clean and requires no maintenance, so they are a popular choice all round really.
Victorian and antique tub chairs are a bit rarer and harder to get hold of, but they have the charm and character that other chairs just don’t have. Pretty expensive but worth it if you have the money. Older and country style homes are the best place to out them in, as they can blend in with the more rustic look.
There are lot’s of different colours and patterns you can use to add the style your looking for. A simple patterned tub chair can work wonders in a modern home. Think about the materials that make the chair. You can buy chairs with metal legs and arms, such as polished chrome and aluminium. A lot of modern homes have brushed metal fittings and fixtures, so these go well with that theme. All it takes is a little imagination on your part.
Try taking some photos of your room when you visit the furniture store so the staff can advise you on the best option. They should be clued up on interior design and may think of things you might not have.
